I don't know the maker because I don't know alot about furniture so can't answer too many questions. If I guessed by looking at other ones listed on ebay it looks like a Sheraton but I don't know how to really tell for sure. But here is a description of Sheraton furniture and it is exactly like this chest with the marketry and different woods and straight and tapered legs. I do know it is very old and has the handmade handcut dovetail drawers. I am guessing the age to be circa 1700-1800's because of the handcut dovetails.
