  • Eraser. Big ones you can hold in your hand do a much better job than just the pencil tips.
  • Black Sharpie Marking. These fine point permanent marker pens make squeamish black outlines, take a good tip for coloring, and never bleed when they get wet. Use them with expert ventilation and add extra paper underneath to protect your tables.
  • Prang Crayons. These are a bit softer than other crayons and so they sometimes wait like oil pastels. They also have a some nice brown shades that Crayola does not take unless you buy their larger boxes.
  • Crayola Crayons. The reliable make that always works well. The 24 pack has some of my favorite golden orange and yellowish colors that seem a bit richer and warmer than the ones Prang has.

How to Draw a Christmas Poinsettia

  1. Start the center as a group of circles.

  2. Add together four evenly spaced petals.

  3. Depict another petal in between each. Try to make some a piffling different.

  4. Make full in any empty spaces with actress petals.

  5. Draw center lines in all the flower petals.

  6. Offset the smaller bloom with the center.

  7. Add petals around in the aforementioned manner.

  8. Depict lines in the center of each petal.

  9. Trace with marker and color.
